Advantech Launches New SDVoE Video Solution, POE Transceiver & Thumbnail Server for Content Preview

Advantech, a leading provider of industrial intelligent systems, is thrilled to announce its latest innovation, the VEGA-1101 and VEGA-1000L. This cutting-edge product redefines the possibilities of video transmission by offering a seamless and efficient solution for the multimedia industry. Aimed at video content transmitting applications, such as digital signage content management in the healthcare and entertainment industries, VEGA-1000 series are capable of transmitting UHD 4K2K@60Hz (4:4:4) HDMI video over long distances.
VEGA-1101, POE HDMI over IP Multicast Transceiver System
With live video image broadcasts playing an increasingly significant role in versatile applications, demand for intelligent devices capable of low-latency data transmissions has grown significantly. Advantech’s VEGA-1101 POE bi-directional HDMI-over-IP multicast transceiver system is a next-generation transceiver that uses SDVoE-based AV networking to support transmissions over IP networks with near-zero latency. With its advanced features, such as HDMI support, Power Over Ethernet capabilities, and the hardware transmission/receiver mode switch, the VEGA-1101 is set to revolutionize the way users experience multimedia content. VEGA-1101 also supports bi-directional IR, RS-232, and audio extraction/extension as well as IR and RS-232 signal pass-through for long-range signal distribution. In addition to remote digital signage operations, this enables complex, next-generation audiovisual applications such as 4K video walls and multi-screen displays.
VEGA-1000L, Compact Size 4K SDVoE HDMI over IP Signal Extender
In addition to the VEGA-1101, Advantech also offers the VEGA-1000L. A compact-size (90x 89x25mm) UHD video signal extender that boosts your HDMI signal transmission distance up to 400m over a multi-mode fiber in Ultra-HD 4K2K@60(4:4:4) format. Users can readily extend UHD sources from 4K cameras, video game consoles, PCs, UHD video players, and any other HDMI sources to distant displays/monitors.
Regarding broadcast formats, Advantech VEGA-1000 series support point-to-point, point-to-many, and multicast communication to enable flexible content distribution according to diverse usage needs. Overall, with SDVoE functionality, VEGA-1000 series provide an advanced yet versatile solution for broadcasting 4K UHD multimedia content with minimal latency.
VEGA-6321, Cutting edge 8K UHD Video Server
VEGA-6321 platform serves as a configured ENC/REC and DEC with the inclusion of a 5-inch touch panel video appliance. Featuring a 12th Gen Intel processor, VEGA-6321 also supports PCIe Gen4 x8 expansion slot. This augmentation allows customers to integrate a PCIe card that enhances VEGA-6321’s video processing capabilities.
For instance, by installing VEGA-3003, SDVoE PICe video capture card, VEGA-6321 is capable of continually overseeing the SDVoE network and generating thumbnails of each active TX endpoint for preview. With the well-integrated and developed ResfAPI, customer can easily integrate the thumbnail into their SDVoE control software for preview.
